RecommendedAfter a painful few hours and ultimately canceling my order at U-Haul, I called Hitch King and reached Adam. I googled hitches while holding on the phone for more than 1 1/2 hours with Uhaul and then spoke with Adam at Hitch King in Floral Park, who picked up the phone immediately. I needed a 1 1/4 receiver for our bike rack and he ordered it. He called me when it came in and I just had the hitch installed this morning. They said an hour and they were spot on re: time. Hitch king are great. We returned a Penske truck late on a rainy evening. They took care of everything even gave us a lift to the local rail station so we wouldn't have to walk in the rain!
On our way to a campground for a family vacation our trailer came right off of our hitch while on the Throgs Neck Bridge. Thankfully 2 wonderful gentleman stopped to help us, they fixed our problem helped us put the trailer back on the hitch. I don't know what we would have done without the owner and his son that day!!! Thank you again so much!
Great job and great price. Had our hitch installed on our new BMW X3 this weekend and they did a great job. Highly recommend. Much more reasonable than dealer and they do a professional job.
