The good: sangria, wine, caprese appetizer, prime rib, mashed potatoes, and broccoli; excellent service - the server coursed the meal nicely and provided recommendations. The rockfish was ok, but the grains and black tea sauce were unpleasantly sweet, and the chard beneath it all was not seasoned at all. The manager offered to re-fire the dish, but I asked for vinegar instead to counter the sweetness. It helped, but next time I'll stick with a steak. We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner here last night. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was even better. Hands down, we are the best prime rib of our lives. Thank you for an exceptional meal!
The service and ambiance were remarkable. Our food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Truly a first class restaurant.
We used to be regulars at the Revere, however the last few times we've been there the menu has changed and for the WORST!! Fish & Chips were excellent as well as the Prime Rib Sandwich but much to our surprise it's no longer on the menu! Why? Have you ever heard of the old Cliche- "if it's not broke don't fix it"? We gave it one more try this weekend, needless to say we were not impressed and unfortunately will not be dining with you any time in the foreseeable future!!!
Had a fantastic dinner for 2. I had the scallops and she had the crab cake. There was tremendous attention to detail. Every item on the plate was perfectly cooked. Plating was beautiful and the prices were not exorbitant for the amount and quality of food we received. Our waiter, Chris, was very helpful and courteous.
Stuffed mushrooms, Filet Mignon with a crab cake, finished off with New York Cheesecake and coffee..
We had a chance encounter with the Revere Tavern over 15 years on a weekend visit to Lancaster. This time we made a point to have dinner and made reservations. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent as well as the service . We look forward to returning.
