Hispanic Counceling Center is an organization that staffs unprofessional, unqualified, irresponsible “psychologists” who are unwilling to actually do their job and would rather boot people to a psyc ward. Unless you want to lose a whole day of work/time and be sent TO A PSCY WARD and be ESCORTED BY POLCIE for guidance on your personal issues by your own psychologist, I highly recommend asking your healthcare provider to recommend another therapy clinic. Fui durante un mes, hablé con una psicóloga y una psiquiatra. Me dijeron que no podía seguir atendiéndome con ellos porque me mudé a queens. Dijeron que me enviarían una carta con la información de psicólogos que me podrían atender y mi historial con ellos. Los llamé varias veces pero nunca enviaron los papeles, dijeron que era paciente de alto riesgo pero no les importó dejarme sin psicólogo.
Melinda Bonilla is a great therapist. She’s easy to talk to and really listens. I feel a lot better after our sessions, and she helps me deal with stress and anxiety.
The ladies on the phone always catch an attitude & have no profession. It’s a counseling center but yet again you guys are the ones w/ the nasty attitude but it’s okay one day y’all will get caught up treating people like that!
