This company is a lie. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! I bought a RED FREDDY GENOVESE BASIL from them but they send a PURPLE BASIL instead. The picture on their website is red and even the tag that came with the plant is red. I was obviously upset and send them an email and the guy kept insisting that the picture on the tag is purple. The picture and the plant look different and they insist on me paying for the return shipping if I want to return it which I believe is not justified since they were the one who send the wrong basil to... read more
Yesterday I received 12 items purchased from Hirts Garden. All arrive nicely packed and exactly what I order. I am very pleased with the plants I ordered.
Poor Customer service. What is described is not what you get
If I could leave a 0 star rating I would!! I ordered a rosemary plant from them which arrived very quickly. When I opened the package, I found a 90% dead plant that was dry out from the heat pack they had in the box. Talking to Matt by email where I asked for a replacement, he wanted photo's which I sent. His answer was that the plant was still alive and could survive outside!! I'm doing my best to revive the plant but doesn't look so good. Terrible customer service!! HIRT'S YOU SUCK!!!!! I ordered a fifty dollar plant in a 3 gallon pot. Black beauty elderberry, if anyone cares. I received a tiny twig in a maybe 4 inch pot. When I called I was told they were unable to do anything on the phone and I needed to send an email. When I called back nearly four hours later (2/3 of their business day)I was verbally accosted by two employees.
