Like a lot of organizations that say they help veterans, Hire Heroes USA runs like a machine, way too focused on building resumes with AI tech that just doesn't work and processes that feel really impersonal. Agreed with the lower rated comments. Veterans, avoid this organization at ALL COSTS. A total SCAM. They don't stay in contact with you, YOU have to do everything on your own; what are they here for? I asked for a referral as mentioned on their own web site and my REP, argued with me that she can't do it! I went to her supervisor and the supervisor agreed with me. Not open during working hours and nobody answers the phone.
Signing up for this service got me my dream job. I have always thought I would never benefit from a service like this. I felt like I questioned all the changes they did to my resume. Once I actually used their advice and started tailoring the working resume they produced for me, I got a very high percentage of calls for interviews.
