The dental assistant that cleaned my teeth was really nice and competent. She mentioned it was her first day so she might have been a little anxious but I couldn't tell. She talked to me to put me at ease and did a thorough job. I will say that with the sensitivities in my teeth the tool she used at first gave me some "zingers" of pain. =)I would rather have used something else. The actual cleaning was good though.
I've been in two times - first visit for a checkup and cleaning, and second visit for some dental work. The entire staff is professional and nice. I was impressed by Dr. Hinton's attention to detail and concern for my dental health. I was anxious about the dental work I needed, but think I am in the best and most careful hands with Dr. Hinton. Looking forward to my next checkup, and I highly recommend Hinton Family Dental!

Even though I had to be referred to other dentists my visit with Dr. Hinton was excellent and she did a good job as usual. She worked hard to get me the care I needed.

The hygienist was wonderful and kind, but I do not like the new water-jet laser type thing for teeth cleaning. The gums are hit way too much and was not a pleasant experience at all. New technology is not always a good thing. Would like to know if this is an optional tool and would like to be given a choice if it is.
