I will never go back her. Now I usually go to a gynecologist to get the lady bits looked at but it had been a while since I had a dr's appt of any kind, so I went with her suggestion to get it done there with her. I've had multiple pap smears done, it had never hurt before, it hurt this time. But what made it a horrible experience was her bedside manner. After a few times of her trying and failing because I kept backing away because it hurt, she blamed me for dancing around on the table which made it impossible for her to do... read more
Bedside manner and listening ability/willingness are poor. In sensitive matters she was not empathetic but rather laid blame. My wife and I were both left with little choice when previous PCP moved on. Neither of us have been back after the first couple visits, instead making appointments directly with specialists for the past appx 6 years.
She is a bad listener and I question her knowledge.
I went in to establish care and came out with a medical suspension on my license, and was told to get a sleep study. I brought up that I was tired because I work crazy fulltime hours and I'm a college student. I am sleep deprived like most people in this world, but I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and narcolepsy, and it has completely flipped my world upside down. It put so many unnecessary road blocks in my way, and I show 0 signs of either of these sleep issues. What a waste of time.
Dr. Khan provides the very best service and is extremely attentive to your file. She'll ponder its meaning. She'll peruse its depths. From the moment she enters her room until about the time she leaves her fixated eyes will never leave its pages. She was my doctor for years but she rarely laid a hand on me. If you had a lump on your body, she'd take your word on it and then...? Whoosh... Off you go to a more costly specialist to have them worry about you.
It would be nice if she could explain the side effects of the prescriptions she gives you without going onto WebMD and reading about them instead. Instead of discussing, maybe she’ll give you a piece of paper with the name of the condition and nothing more. Leaving YOU to do the research. I’m not a doctor, that’s why I’m going to see you! Very frustrating experiences consulting with her on my health.
EASILY the WORST medical appointment I've ever had... and that's after three complicated pregnancies. She was rude, condescending, and patronizing. I left feeling far worse than I did when I went in. What's worse is that when I contested the multi-hundred dollar bill with Providence, they refused to adjust it. I had to find another doctor and start the process over again, doubling the bill. Awful... Just awful.
She is horrible. Completely wasted my time with her.
