Second time staying here. Rooms were clean, bar drinks were well made, and loved it!

I am currently in a room at this hotel. This is the worst DoubleTree property I have ever stayed in. This room is very dated and there are stains all over the furniture. There’s a dusty old smell that’s really persistent. This room is not what was pictured.

Initially, our experience was great. Check in was smooth. The hotel is immaculate (from what little we were able to see). The people at the front desk were inviting and friendly. We were told check-out was at noon and there would be a $50 hold for incidentals, and that $20 of that would be kept for parking charges. The next morning a little before 8 a.m., we were awakened by someone trying to open our door, but they were prevented from doing so with the door stopper. My family and I really enjoyed this hotel. Our rooms had recently been updated, were clean and comfortable and well tended by the housekeeping staff, and looked out on the pretty central courtyard (some was under renovation, but the pool area was open) surrounded by arcaded walkways. There was a small outdoor garden too. The hotel is decorated with contemporary art by Texas artists, a thoughtful and unusual feature.
