Great hotel in a premium location. The property is modern, clean, and extremely walkable. Service was excellent throughout my stay.A lot of negative reviews seem focused on the parking price, but there’s an ABM lot just one block north that charges only $10 for 12 hours, which makes parking a non‑issue.My only downsides were the small pool (and no jacuzzi) and the room being a bit bright in the morning. Otherwise, a solid place to stay.

Our stay at the Hilton was nearly perfect. Walking distance to gaslamp, patco park and seaport village, plus many other attractions. Downside was the $70 to park your car each day. Another factor: the passing train which caused a lot of noise, especially early morning. Otherwise would book again.

Diamond member here for 18+ years… do not stay at this hilton. The train runs directly behind this hotel and it is VERY active and VERY loud. It runs all night and makes the worst banging sound that its impossible to sleep thru. I had zero sleep the time I was there and they never warned me when I checked in. Also there is no self parking onsite and valet is $70!!!!!!! This place is a money grab and not worth it. Heed my advice and skip this hotel. See my video about the train. Taken at 2am.

I recently has an impromptu night stay that turned into a 5 night stay and all due to the amazing service and welcoming feeling I had from the front desk associate Nethmi. She was attentive, caring, understanding, helpful and even checked in with me and my safety as I was extending my stay day per day. I was enjoying my time so much in Gaslamp San Diego that everyday I decided to extend and stay at this hotel that offered me exceptional service and amazing comfortable rooms.
