Not Really a Hilton... Don't be confused by the Hilton name---I was treated like dirt at check in when they noted that I had booked my room through an internet "third party" telling me that my Gold Points card wouldn't apply and later was informed that I couldn't get into the VIP Lounge (for Gold and Platinum members) since I had reserved "third party"....I don't understand why they put their rooms up for reservation with third party if they are going to treat you like dirt once you reserve with them.....Management needs to ... read more
don't stay here! The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is located in downtown Milwaukee on Wisconsin Avenue. I booked my rooms through net direct on the Hilton website. Bad experience!! After discovering that my child had the chicken pox, I was not allowed to cancel my reservations for a full refund. Apparently they wanted their guests exposed to the chicken pox. How crazy!! I would never use the net direct service or stay in a Hilton Hotel again!
very disappointed! We were very disappointed with our stay. First we tried to cancel because our child came down with chicken pox and they would not let us. They would not even let us change the date. Then when we got there we found dirty clothes on the floor of our room. We did not like that you had to pay to use the pool and to park. We were already spending 130 dollars to stay there!! My advice -- stay somewhere else!!
