Everyone was very friendly, but we had to change rooms four times. There was a note in the reservation that I am disabled and need a room with a bathtub, but there wasn't one in the first room. It took a while, but they got us moved to a room with a tub. Unfortunately, the stopper did not seal. It was roughly 3 am by the time we got into the new room, so I plugged it with a washcloth so I could at least wash my body. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Historic hotel with ornate lobby. Starbucks and other good restaurants on site. Within walking distance of much of downtown Milwaukee. My only issue was smallish room and awful pillows.
They have 6 elevators for guests, but it doesn't seem like all are working as there is always a wait. The morning of our checkout, housekeeping woke us up trying to get in. Front desk didn't care at all. There was a small hole in the bedsheets for some reason. Also, they don't seem to care if you're a Diamond member or not.
Had a wonderful stay during the ACDA conference, very accommodating for my students and me.
