Overall it's not a bad hotel. I used it when traveling to Madison for work. The first time I stayed I had a nice little suite overlooking the lake. The second time I stayed I had a king bed with some questionable splatter marks on the headboard. Since my third stay was already pre-booked through work, out I went again, but got a different room with two queen beds overlooking the capitol building. Great stay overall. Parking was easy and felt very safe. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. My room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent perfect for walking around downtown Madison. I would definitely stay here again.
Not great. Other than that “executive lounge” which was staffed only part time by competent staff, my stay at this property was pretty bad. They need a FULL revamp and training on front office staff. Housekeeping is honestly kind of terrifying as I had MANY ITEMS (glasses, electronics, things I use for my woman/minority owned small business) straight up STOLEN during my stay here. The property is beautiful but the staff made the stay quite uncomfortable and non-enjoyable.
Best hotel in town for certain
The people who work here are very nice. It's a nice hotel. But the only microwave is at the front desk. So if you want to heat up some food you have to ask them to do it at the front desk and it's embarrassing
