If you want to stay right downtown in the heart of things, this is the perfect place to stay. You can walk out your door and walk across the street to Starbucks, and enjoy a multitude of restaurants of shops. The beach is very disappointing when you walk over to it it’s narrow and extremely rocky. We did not spend any time on the Waikiki Beach, but had to rent a car and go to other beaches instead.
