The hotel was adequate for what we expected. However, what was not expected was the parking cost for their own parking lot. We paid $100 for 6 nights, which is unfortunate. Additionally, be advised, there is no breakfast included and the cost is $15 per person for continental breakfast. Had I known this from the beginning, I would have chosen a different hotel for my family with both parking and breakfast options included, even if I paid a bit more. We had a wonderful six-night stay here this June! The recent renovations look fantastic. There was a severe heatwave during our visit, and while our room's A/C worked perfectly, the lobby struggled a bit. However, the staff’s incredible hospitality shined through—they set up a fan right next to me while I worked and constantly brought me cold water. "Our family traveled to the area from Atlanta, GA, and the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake/Norfolk area to attend funeral services for our beloved uncle, brother, and cousin. Get to room was 79 degrees there. Went down to Fixt issue. They come they check ac they say is good , working. After 12 hour of night work I come back to hotel in room was same temperature. Didn’t get any of sleep.
