We stayed at the HGI Temecula this past weekend to attend a wedding. This hotel was definitely a disappointment as we had several issues with our room. We came back to the room one afternoon to see/smell sewage backing up into our sink drain. The problem was supposedly remedied by maintenance staff by pouring drain cleaner down the sink. We also had ants in our room. We heard that other guests had similar problems. Our TV was glitchy but we resolved this on our own. 24 hours before my check in time, I didn't find my stay on the Hilton Honors app. I called the front desk to see what was up. I dealt with the guy before. He's a jerk. He reminded me that I booked through one of their partners. He proceeded to tell me that at least five times in just a few minutes, "That's because you booked with a third party". Apparently that is is mantra. That was the black fellow that has insulted me several times. His specialty is telling you "No!", then rubbing your nose in it like you peed on the rug.... read more
