We reserved a King Size Room for March 29th to March 30th we used Bookings.com for the payment and reservation. We were driving 4 hours to get to the hotel and I called at 1:50pm to confirm my reservation and spoke to a female she confirmed everything and even asked if we had a preference on floor. I had the cops called on me for asking for toiletries—A front desk staff member rudely refused to speak to me (maybe because I’m brown and have an accent?) when I asked about buying a drink a few minutes past 2 AM (I didn’t know CA laws). Later, when I called for a fresh bar of soap, they ignored me, then told me to stop calling and called the cops on me after I went to the front desk.
