Was in San Diego for a quick one day work trip. Spent two nights there and loved the location which was in close proximity to were I was working. Room was a little dated and didn't have an alarm clock or adequate amount of USB ports. Clean and comfortable, slept great. The lobby bar was fantastic as well as the hotel staff.
First off...the entrance to this place is not convenient or obvious. It took 3 hours to get here from Long Beach, all I wanted was to shower, grab a drink at the bar and go to the pool. The bar was not open. OK, whatever. The pool area? Of the 2 towels that were available mine had a huge hole in it. Very tacky. The pool was not heated so I went to soak in the hot tub.
