I just wanted to give a big shout-out to the amazing team at Longview! I recently spent a couple of weeks there for work, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. The front desk and housekeeping staff were awesome, especially when it came to my dog, Momo. So the hotel Itself is fine. Just a normal hotel, normal location. However , nowhere posted are you notified that you have to pay a parking fee each night. I’ve stayed at many hotels in a downtown setting or with a garage where parking is scarce and have had to pay , but this feels very very scamish to me. When I asked, I was told that’s just what the property chose to do, even though there really isn’t a justification for it as it’s a normal hotel with a normal parking lot
Why add $7 for parking each day? The hotel needs improvements and it’s going through some carpeting changes. Other places need to be cleaned and updated. Inspect your bed and refrigerator before you settle in. I was surprised with food leftovers in the refrigerator and it was nasty.
