The best thing about this Hotel is the Staff & their customer service ! They are authentic, and very warm & welcoming. They recognized we had a special event (the USMC 250th Birthday) from the moment our group walked in, to the moment we left everything was 5 star service ! We asked for some advice for local restaurants or things to do? They were spot on with their sage, local advice. Our stay at the Hilton Gettysburg was nothing short of exceptional, and that’s entirely because of the incredible staff who made our visit unforgettable. I am currently in a room on the 4th floor. The room is very nice. The room is freezing cold especially the bathroom. I told the front desk and the control had to be switched from cold to heat. The maintenance lock in the temperature and you cannot get it above a certain temperature. Still cold even with the switch to heat. The heat will not run for 2 hours once the thermostat hits a certain temperature. Stepping on the bathroom floor is like stepping on a block of ice.
