I booked a room at this hotel three weeks in advance through super.com. We arrived at 11 pm, and at that hour the receptionist told us the hotel was sold out and there was no room for us. I was traveling with my young daughter for seven hours, and the man, without any compassion, told me to find somewhere else. I complained vehemently, saying I had paid for my stay and wasn't going anywhere at that hour. I demanded he find me an available room because I wasn't leaving. Room 106 , what a noise room, the bathtub was dirty and A/C has to be in 68 if you move up to 70 the a/c works like a heater. We reported the nasty bathtub but nobody came . They lady in the front next morning and the guy in the breakfast were very nice.

Had an amazing time staying here for my daughter competition. We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. Special thanks to Michael at the front desk — he was so helpful and made check-in super easy. Would definitely stay again!

A+ Room was (mostly) freshly renovated with new carpet ,furnishings, and bed. very comfortable sleep. Some new furnishings in lobby as well. i would suggest finishing the renovation with the bathrooms, with LVP floor and new showers, as the floor tile is old and slightly loose, and shower functional but dated. Staff was super friendly especially the young lady serving breakfast. the signature HGI omlet and flavored water in lobby always enjoyable. neighborhood is more quiet and tucked away than most interstate hwy hotels.
