On behalf of a national club we belong to, I booked a large block of rooms for a 3-day convention in the adjoining Texoma Event Center. Our membership has given me nothing but positive reviews from their experience at the hotel and event center. Staff was courteous and always helpful when needed. We booked 3 - 2 bed queens per room /4 nights for a weekend conference being held on site at the hotel. The overnight front desk staff was struggling admitting this was only her fourth night working.. When we got to our rooms one was unlocked the door slightly ajar. We did not get the room types requested at time of reservation. 1. The rooms were dirty, hard floors sticky, carpet needed a cleaning. 2. Water leak marks on the ceiling. 3. Wallpaper is peeling. 4. The food service/caterer and cleaning staff were excellent, easy to find, and all had great attitudes. The conference rooms give you what you need for a fair price. The day/night office staff might need to communicate more about events, expected arrivals, and conference room use to avoid confusion at the front desk for people checking into their reservations.
Coffee in lobby was cold.
