My brother and I stayed here along with my service dog Honey and we had an excellent experience. The staff was extremely friendly and I would definitely come back.
I had a great overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia! I needed a place to stop on a long road trip with my dog and this was the perfect halfway point. Every staff member was friendly, hospitable, and went above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast is not free as in other Hilton hotels. Same food except you have to wait to be seated and wait for someone to wait on you and take your order. When the food is free it tastes pretty good. However, when you have to pay for the same food somehow it tastes horrible.
I had the opportunity for the last three years to use this hotel to host my work event. The key things I enjoy about this hotel is premiere custom service. For example, I forgot a piece of equipment and they accommodated me with it which was super helpful and calming. Next, the communication between the staff is incredible by keeping each informed when shift changes occur. Third is the food always being expectational with flavor and taste.
I was there for a conference. rooms were standard, but very clean no musty weird smells, air filters were clean, beds were a wee bit too firm, refrigerator kept drinks cold, and the restaurant had a fantastic margarita pizza. Staff were very friendly and courteous.
