I've stayed here a couple times since apparent renovations. The hotel looks nice enough at a glance. But there are so many deficiencies in the rooms and public spaces. I stayed on the second floor and there are dark stains running down the length of the hallway carpeting. In my room, the finishes were poorly applied. Plumbing fixtures were loose. I stayed away from this hotel for three years after finding bed bugs infesting my bed during a previous stay. Yes, I have the video, and yes, I provided it to Hilton. At the time, Hilton told me there was little they could do because the property was privately owned. After three years, and seeing that the hotel had undergone a “makeover renovation,” I decided to give it another chance. That was a mistake. I was supposed to stay here for two weeks. I don’t like giving poor reviews, however the management is the cause not the one and only employee there trying to do everything. No breakfast because the staff didn’t show. Was told I can’t have the room serviced because of staff. No free coffee in the lobby as I’ve seen in the other locations for last 30 years. Hilton, are you paying attention? Obviously this franchise owner is extremely incompetent.
