The service is usually great but unfortunately you got a 50/50 chance of the halls / elevators reeking of weed, sometimes permeating to your rooms . I’ve been here for work on and off for months and there doesn’t seem to be any preventative strategy .
Hotel seemed worn. As usual a Typical smell of marijuana pervasive in elevator and hallways though listed as a “ nonsmoking property”. After long day of travel just wanted to take a hot shower and found “hot” water to be barely lukewarm. “Maintenance” came up and assessed the water and said that was as good as it would get. I remember when Hilton stood for quality. Unsatisfactory stay.
Extremely Disappointing Service!!! This hotel is in a convenient location for restaurants, but apparently, it's also a convenient location for crime! During the one night I stayed here, someone tried to break into my car in the parking lot and mangled the door handle. I reported the incident immediately, and filed a police report. The front desk staff said all the right things about customer care, and said that Hilton would assist with the cost of the repair. The hotel has a great location and well-appointed lobby. The rooms have good points - good housekeeping, comfortable beds, nice Crabtree & Evelyn products, and clean wallpaper and furnishing. The bathroom has some quirks, such as shower curtain liner that didn't come close to reaching edge of tub (so you need to put the actual shower curtain inside tub). The shower volume is inadequate making it difficult to wash hair or rinse. There was a coffee setup with cups, condiments, and K-cups, but no coffee maker!
The staff was less than helpful, allowed a group of teenagers to run around screaming and banging doors. I had to call 3 times to get someone to come up and speak to them. Also, the lack of keeping track of any of the carts lead my disabled mother to have to carrying all her belongings.
