The heater is noisy. There was a door lock malfunction with the key in the room I had stayed in. So I had to wait a few hours before maintenance came, after I had to speak to the manager. They had checked me in, and told me someone would be there "soon" to fix the door. Letting me go up to my room with my key, and the lock not registering it. I had to be let back in after asking when the door accessibility would be addressed. The front desk lady, Emily seemed rude, raising her voice, and appeared inconvenienced.
I found myself in Anchorage for a week for work in Mid-March. I was pleasantly surprised by everything. There was a ton of snow and ice on the ground, but 15F felt like 35F(from where I'm from(northern Indiana). Again I was here for work and the Home2Suites(directly across the street) was double the room rate. I had stayed at H2S in Indy in August '25 and everything was great(but not 2X the room rate). I had zero issues and was able to get around town.
Fix y’all’s damn fire alarm
This is a really nice hotel located in mid city anchorage. The hotel seemed well maintained. The room was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They stored our bags for us while we did an excursion. We also used the shuttle to get to the airport.
