The food at Hilo Poké & Sushi actually tastes okay, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. I paid $19 for a poke bowl, spicy Hawaiian and for that price, I expect fair portions and a good experience. The bowl barely had any seaweed toppings compared to the picture. When I politely asked the employee for a bit more to match the photo, she gave me a dismissive reaction, told me it was "just a topping," and barely added any. Took 45 minutes for grocery store quality sushi. I only ordered two rolls and it took forever. I could've drove to a grocery store 5 minutes away for better quality sushi.

Rice to ingredients ratio is low. I was a little disappointed in the proportion size in general. I asked for extra sauce and was told it would be $1.50 for this small container of sauce. The staff was extremely friendly though and helpful.

Best poke bowl in the area and the sushi is good too. You can order a bowl or build your own. The portion size is good and they make it right there while you wait. It is inside of R House so there is parking in the lot across the street and plenty of places to sit inside or outside.

Ordered delivery, the order on the bag was correct but everything inside was wrong. They said they would take care of the charge but didn’t. Never eating there again and it’s disappointing because I used to be a fan :(
