I have never had a more distasteful experience from this franchise ever in my life that I have until today. I have been coming to the Houston location for Over 15 years and I have never been so disrespected by the Management upon arrival. I have never had An issue with dress code at the bar. It seems that they have finally allowed the dining room to accommodate guest wearing all caps. And the bar to allow gym Clothes, hats and more leisure style wear. I usually stop in for lunch, and it never disappoints. Portions are just right, flavors are perfectly balanced, and let me tell you - the coleslaw is next-level. Fresh, crisp, and more like a beautifully dressed cabbage salad than your standard side. The service is always warm and attentive, the space is spotless, and the whole experience consistently excellent. Hillstone is an easy win every time!
Carla was such a hospitable greeter even at a busy dinner time she remained with a kind attitude and beautiful smile, ambiance is great and food was awesome as always
I’ve been eating at “Houston’s” since I was a child and I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant in my entire 37, almost 38 year life. They kicked us out AFTER seating us because they “cannot” have 6 people (4 adults and 2 kids) in a large booth but they can sit 5 overweight adults in that same booth. This was at 4:30pm, not peak dinner time. Common sense zero.
One of our favorites no matter what the name is. Hillstone or Houstons they are both the same. Favorites are the baby back ribs followed with the apple walnut cobbler and ice cream which is not on the menu but it is there if you ask for it and it is fantastic.
