Tish K. I have been taking my cats to Hillside since 2004. I have always been VERY satisfied with the Doctor's and Staff. Dr Masters is the main one I take the cats to. He is excellent. The reception area is clean. The Staff are very friendly and personable and always make me feel at home as well as being very compassionate when I have had serious problems with my cats.
Don't know what I would do without them! THE BEST!!! Dr. Olcott and Dr. Masters have been in my and my animals lives since 2007. I sincerely Love and Appreciate both of them. They each have saved 2 of my animals lives on several occasions (I mean that literally). I would stay away from Dr. Roberts.
Excellent Long-Term Experience Wow, I'm amused by the reviews - all over the map, I guess demonstrating how people (me included) have strong feelings toward their pets.
No customer service! They used to be a great practice...what changed my mind? It is the way they have treated my elderly mother who is also a client. When she brought a new kitten to the practice a year ago, the vet tech told my mother she was a horrible person for buying from a cattery when there are plenty of kittens who need to be rescued. I have rescued pets myself but my mother has a breed preference. If a person is willing to give a forever home to an animal, who are you to judge? Certainly, the time and place is not w... read more
No one cares anymore! My husband took my terminally ill 13 y.o. female Saint Bernard in for immunizations required by the boarding facility recommended by Hillside. My phone call a week before consisted of asking if they would put a note in her chart so they would know exactly what we needed. Sure enough they had the note in her chart but didn't read the chart and didn't give 2 of the necessary vaccines. Instead they tried to sell us heartworm meds.My dog has to be carried and has difficulty breathing under stress. Her tumor... read more
Best Veterinarians Around! All of the doctors at Hillside are wonderful!! All of my pets (2 dogs and a cat) are slightly afraid of car rides, and it makes them very mean. Despite this, when we got to the hospital and the animals were taken in and saw the doctors, they all seemed to feel right at home. The doctors were great at making my pets feel comfortable in the hospital environment. Horrible place, won't return! Woke up one morning w/a limping meowing cat. She never meows or complains. Took her in to Hillside was told to drop her off and maybe they can see her before closing at Noon. They told me for 1hour that they were examining her and when they closed said they did NOT examine her. Half a day wasted and cat still in pain. Dr Olcott is a wonderful Vet The first time we went to Hillside we were impressed with the exceptional care give to our aging Daschund Bridgett. We then began taking our new puppy Charlie there and again exceptional care. We have seen Dr Olcott the most and she is incrediably kind, smart and sensitive. When we put our Bridgett down it was hard and my husband had to take her in. Everyone was so kind..
