This rental company was far too invasive with their application process, even up to taking facial recognition data. On top of that, they just took our money (almost $300) for applications and waited to tell us we were denied until we called and asked. And the reason for denial? Apparently rental history wasn’t “verifiable”. Umm, did you call any of the rental companies, numbers, or anybody that you specifically asked for on the application? My husband and I rented a house for about a year, and our experience was wonderful! John was very kind and helpful, and quick to respond to any issues we had. Our basement flooded after a rainstorm, and John came over immediately to set up an industrial fan to assist with drying while he sourced another contractor to install a sump pump. They also provide an online portal for paying the rent every month, which made everything so simple. Overall our experience was extremely satisfactory and I highly recommend!
Horrible management. Apartment was filthy when we got the property. Maintenance was so slow, it took them a month to fix our A/C in July, and then charged us $350 for microwave that was cracked when we moved in. Absolutely ridiculous. What microwave costs $350?
Slow to respond to maintenance requests, house was dirty upon move in, and he waited until literally the last day of the 60 he has to send us our deposit. I don't find messing with peoples money amusing and he refused to communicate with us any time we texted him and dodged the calls we made. All around a very shady landlord and business practice. Don't rent from this company.
