This was our third stay at Hillside Cabins. We were 100% satisfied with the amenities, it's staff and location. Very family oriented with a genuine personal touch. We've stayed in a different cabin each time and never been disappointed. The owners work hard to make sure your visit is comfortable & enjoyable. We have stayed before and absolutely love the location. It is a great place to finish out a full day of activities. Very clean and comfortable. The weather bounced from cold to hot to cold and the cabin kept right up with the changes. We will be back to enjoy again. The only thing missing was we had to get some coat hangers, but that was a small price to pay for the cabin. We stayed in the Moose Lodge and had 6 adults there. We were all comfortable and loved it. We stayed 4 nights here at the #4 Lions Den. Just loved it!! Just loved sitting on the deck having coffee! Hillside is right in the middle of everything. Just a few minutes from Rapid city and just a few miles from all the attractions. Very clean and cozy. Owner very helpful with directions and answered all our questions about what to see. THIS IS A MUST STAY AT CABIN WHEN IN THE BLACK HILLS
We just happened to find them on internet. Just what we were looking for, away from all the noise and traffic in Keystone, just 6 miles away. Cabins were very quite. We turned off the a/c and opened the window and it was nice and cool. It was a little on the small side, but had everything we needed.
The cabins are the perfect place to stay. They are close to Mt Rushmore and it is very easy to get to the other attractions in that area. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
A perfect place to stay! The location was ideal - easy to get to, felt secluded, but close to attractions. The cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The owners are so accommodating - will most surely stay here on a return trip to the Black Hills.
