My cat was diagnosed with diabetes at Hillside. Dr. Spencer was so incredibly helpful in helping me understand all the possible treatment plans, and ultimately how to administer insulin and a special diet for diabetic cats. I was a young(er) and poor(er) graduate student at the time and bringing my cat in so many, many times could have been daunting and scary. But the staff were kind and understanding. Hillside helped me save my cat's life!
I recently made the difficult decision to end my kitty’s “Diva” suffering. I was able to get an appointment that same day. Dr. Spencer and his staff were very compassionate and caring during this most heart hurting time. Dr. Spencer explained what would take place and allowed me all the time I needed to say good bye. I’ve been a nurse for many years and know a great Doctor when I see one in action...he is one of them. Thank you Dr. Spencer and Hillside staff for being everything Diva and I needed.-AliceW
I cannot say enough good things about Hillside Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are so kind and knowledgable. They remember you and your fur babies, and treat you as if you're family. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.
Having visited most of the veterinary clinics in the region over the years, I can say without hesitation that Hillside stands out for their excellence, compassion, and dedication. Having moved is the only reason we now take our cats elsewhere.
we are in love...took oppi for a squeeze in appt. although it took awhile to get into examine room...and it was closing time they still looked over our puppie to the fullest extint! ♡

After getting my puppy I knew I wanted to find the right vet. I went to Hillside because they had the best reviews, and they weren’t lying! Just took my puppy there for the first time, and no complaints. The nurse and vet were super nice, informative, and professional. Left with a happy pup!
