Not sure what is going on here at this clinic. Was assigned a new primary care toward start of the year. PC refused to hear anything said along with review charts as they stated didn't like following other people, time frame would have been late winter early spring. Spoke with front desk about being seen for issues and kept getting run around from emails and in person, looks like that person at desk is no longer there. Went in first time today, I needed doctor ordered labs done. Lab lady( Michelle) was very rude not willing to help me just dismissed me like so much garbage. I'm sure she has good days, just not today.
I want to give a huge shoutout to Ashley at the Veteran Affairs office—she is absolutely amazing! I was honestly expecting to be booked far out or even canceled like I’ve experienced before, where it took me nearly two months just to see my primary care provider. But this time, Ashley went above and beyond—she got me an appointment in just six business days! She scheduled me for 12:30 PM, and I couldn’t be happier. Called here recently to see if I could get an appointment with MH. I was told I need not have a referral at the Main VA in Portland. Thus, I called. The lady on the phone was snappy and dismissive. I just relocated to this area and needed care. It appeared that she was bothered of me, stating that it was a long waiting line and wanting to know if there were alternative options. Once again met with polite, helpful staff…. They went out of there way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Detailed explanations of all my bloodwork results and preventative measures for my health, they even followed up next day with a va clinic in Az to get missing data! Awesome experience ty staff at Hillsboro Va Clinic!
