Hillgrove Tap has excellent food and really good ambiance. I especially enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. Mmmmm.
Been there 4 or 5 times for the food. Never disappointed Always good.
We went there once. We sat outside. When I ordered the Rueben the server told me that it wouldn't have kraut on it because they were out of it. Well, that's a corned beef sandwich not a Rueben. She seemed confused when I said that. Overall she seemed confused about everything on the menu. We waited too long for our food and when it arrived it was nothing special. Maybe it's more a drinking spot and less a dining spot. There are other options in the area so it will be a while before we return - if ever.
It was a beautiful night to go out for beers and food. They were prepared to serve the amount of patrons out-and-about. Josh made us feel welcome and checked on us a perfect amount of times. The food was delicious and brews were perfect. Great local pub. Look forward to going back soon. Two thumbs up.
