I wish I had known ahead of time that this attorney was not interested in my case, even though she seemed to be at first. After paying my fee, that was the end of it. I have lost hope that help is out there, and my trust has been knocked down a few notches. I do not recommend this person.
This attorney seemed more interested in the money. I will choose someone else to represent me. At first I thought she was the right person to help me.....,but I soon learned differently.
I am a mother that went through a divorce four years ago and the Hillewaert Law Firm was there to help me maintain rightful custody of my daughter with little money down and was very understanding in working out monthly payment plans that I could afford. Diana has always been there for me when it counted and has never complained at the amount of my monthly payments (which were not a lot sometimes). My very ill mom hired Diane Hillewaert with my brother, to help with a divorce issue, She has over \$3300 plus of there money and hasnt done a thing in almost 3 years. Further more she wont return phone calls or has she done, anything for the money she has taken. Since then my mom died and my brother continues to try and call her to return his tittles she has. A client of 4 years currently having difficulties getting response from Atty Diana Hillewaert, despite adequate funds remaining in account. several requests were made for a statement to be sent by mail over last several months. There is no reason to believe that the behavior or use of funds is questionable, however, there is complete absence of information needed to verify the appropriateness of business practices. Involving the NV Bar Association and the BBB may be necessary.
I am a father who hired Diana for my divorce/custody case. It has been almost a year and the paperwork for my case is STILL not filed. I have tried for months to get a hold of her and every time I actually do (which has been twice in almost the last year) she says it will be done in a month, which it has still yet to be.
