This is a downhome, authentic BBQ joint. It's hincky and decorated with southern style "stuff". The food is always good and I love the small BBQ plate. And the hushpuppies.

Take salads off of the menu, you don't know what you are doing. I paid $9 for one half cooked cut up chicken tender and some dried out ice berg lettuce...looked bad enough to put it in the trash I didn't need to try it

All the way from Michigan!! By far and away the best ribeye ever!! The staff was extremely friendly and the chef was awesome!!! Coming back before we head home!!

Service sucks salad bar was disgusting look like blood in the lettuce. Would not recommend anybody coming here. Waitress said I was bringing you drink never show back up.

Hillbillys has been open since 1989. From the very first day the doors opened, the owner not owners has cared about every aspect of the restaurant. Anyone who would say different, that's Slander. Every business has a manager there to help each customer. Each customer can utilize them for suggestions. We have a lot of great employees who truly care for the customers. We ate also always working with each employee to make sure they all make sure each customer is happy.
I am now going to Mcadenville. I waited to sit..never was asked about drinks from the hostess. .Then wait. .wait..People came in sitting on the salad bar side..There they all went..Still no service. .This is the 2nd time in a month this happened. .I considered myself as a ..well. .baby VIP..I have been here when this was a steakhouse. .I am done..Well Catfish Cove got my business tonight. .I will miss some certain young close friends. 12/30/15..was at 6:30pm..Right side had 2 customers. .Proves its about tips..I saw that fro... read more
