Hill East Burger was a great spot for happy hour with my colleagues. I ordered the OK Burger with two smashed patties, grilled onions, People’s Cheese, trademark sauce, pickles, and added bacon. It was absolutely delicious. The potato bun was incredibly soft, and all the flavors came together perfectly. I also tried the Curly-ish Fries, which were crispy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. For DC small sidewalk restaurant it was comfortable and quiant. Service was kind and attentive.Â
Great spot, a modern twist on a western frontier bar, restaurant. Only downside is the automatic 20% service fee cause not use to it in the Midwest but they do clear the tables, brings drinks, and are pleasant. Everything but the veggie cubes app were great. The sweet vermouth cocktail options were a hit!Â
