Clothing done after a fire Our home was burned and Hilkers Cleaners came and packed up all of my clothes ,drapes, linens and everything was sent back to me in great condition. They were very knowledgable about how to clean items to get the smoke odor out and clean the black smoke off of everything. They explained it to me before they left. I was amazed that clothes could be cleaned after this kind of damage.
people are nice They seem to aslo have agreat prices, and they are pretty fast, they also have a drive up where they come out to your car and get your clothes, they also do wedding dresses, and they are realllly good at getting spots out of shirts, They also have same day service so you can als drop off early and then pick on your way from work, Good place,
Good but expensive Hilker's Cleaners has good service and a nice drive-up, but they are fairly expensive. Look for coupons to cut the price (usually $5 off $10 or $10 off $20).
Best for Designer clothing I have very expensive clothing from all over the world, Hilker's always cleans them with special care. I do not worry about my silks, or sequins. Also, they stuff the sleeves of my jackets with tissue and fold my husbands shirts for business trips. We love them.
Hilkers Cleaners is First class Falls of Neuse location has wonderful staff, they are patient with me, and are most helpful and honest. I don't mind paying a little more when I know my clothes will be taken well care of. They do a fabulous job with my party dresses and work suits.
I won't go to Hilker's Cleaners again! Prices are outrageously over priced. Much higher than competitors' prices. I know because i called around to about a dozen other dry cleaners. Unfortunately, it was AFTER Hilker's charged me $25 for a two piece regular length dress (a plain sleeveless dress, and a midriff long sleeve jacket that only clasps in the front). Prices Are Heavily Inflated – I am sure they have a fine reputation for quality work but I find their prices to be ridiculous - as a previous comment stated 'price gouging', particularly for folks on fixed incomes. $15 to dry clean a 2 -piece suit?? Come on, in these difficult economic times?
No thank you – I went to this cleaners based on the good recommendations given below to have my "formal" dress cleaned. All I can say is that I am utterly disappointed. FYI- Hilkers charges $50 to clean a "formal" dress and $175 and up to clean a "wedding gown." Apparently, even if a dress "looks" like a wedding gown, then it will not be cleaned for less than $175.00.
