Dr. Malcarney is very straight forward was very professional her assessment with me during my visit. I appreciate her honesty about whether surgery was necessary for me due to my conditioning exercises that I do on my own to strengthen my surrounding muscles prior to the surgery. She graded my results as an A plus plus. Will be following up with her to discuss the pro and cons of the shoulder surgery. I feel very confident with her in any decision that she recommends. Much appreciated.
Dr. Malcarney took the time to ask about my problem, review by test results and carefully examine my shoulder. She then reviewed her findings, recommendations and options. She was warm and thorough, and I never felt she was rushing through the appointment.
I have never waited more than 20 minutes from check-in to being seen by Dr Malcarney or PA-C Kathleen Sturrock. I have full confidence in Dr Malcarney performing my upcoming surgery.
Dr. Malcarney is an exceedingly knowledgeable professional who explains clearly the procedures she will be using and listens and responds to my questions and concerns.
I saved this review request for months until my experience was completed. Dr. Malcarney's concern and professionalism went beyond the usual. She went to bat for me with other agencies. My right shoulder was done 15 years ago with good results, so when my left blew, I knew exactly where to go.
Dr Malcarney is thorough, and does not rush to do surgery. She is friendly and truly cares about her patients.

I'm on my 3rd shoulder surgery. (1st one 3 years ago) Dr Malcarne has a reputation for being one of the best. I was lucky to get in with her, it's been a year long process for me with cancer right in the middle of this. Dr Malcarney has literally walked me through these difficult times. She is not only talented but she cares so much..She is confident and just a stand up surgeon. This I believe is what makes her the best! She is authentic, creative, strong, caring, capable and a great personality!!
It was a privilege to have been operated on by Dr. Malcarney. Highly recommended, she exceeded even what I’d been told to expect. Warm and well-spoken, she’s an awesome person as well as a talented surgeon. There are other well trained, highly skilled surgeons elsewhere, surely, but within that top tier, none are better than she.
