The doctor is being non-compliant with the insurance benefits and billing through himself not the facility. He charged us our $70 co-pay, which is our only obligation, then has the nerve to charge an additional $692 by wrongfully billing. I reported him to the insurance compliance and filing and appeal and will have a lawyer on him as I am not the only one he is doing this too!
Pathetic. No compassion. No diagnosis. 5.5 hrs in emergency in crazy and nothing. We deserve better.
He was a good doctor to me until he began rescheduling my appointments and he tried doing it again after me arriving not more than 5 minutes late with no other patients waiting for him. I questioned this and he basically told me to find a new doctor that is more flexible. I had any kind of issue like this before and so it is bizarre. Care is fine but billing has gone insane. They used to charge $150-$170 to see your child. Surprise and without notice now charge as an "outpatient hospital" and bills are $1,050-$1,200 to see your kid for an ear infection. Urgent care is for speed and cost efficiency. They aren't either one anymore.
Be very careful when going to the ER your insurance company is going to be billed by different companies that's not Baptist criticare is one of them they charge your insurance what ever they want and the they send you a balance payment that you will need to pay its a rip off even with insurance you get rip off by sub contractors that work for Baptist and there's no explanation for what they did UNBELIEVABLE A GREAT HOSPITAL LIKE THIS HAS TURN TO CRAP .
Do not take your parents to this office. It is very unprofessional. You wait 2 hours to see the doctor and then get attitude from the young girls in the office. Dr Garcia-Rivera is very nice but does not return phone calls to patients. He has these young girls that return the phone calls. 1) Unaddressed pain, Dr. Gomolin was very indifferent to my request of examination of my head. 2) Poor listener, uncompationate and a screamer when you asked something he doesnt know 3) Perception of my wrong diagnosis or treatment.was ignored and no answer.
