At least one staff member at this building has put effort into damaging my reputation and violated my right to privacy which is a violation of the tenant act and has serious legal repercussions. Along with this I can confirm living directly across the hall from Maureen was a horrible NIGHTMARE and both my dog and I experienced an extreme amount of trauma and stress as a result of the staffs negligence and purposeful actions. update realstar doesnt care . Trust the honest 1 star reviews, everything is true. Theres a tonne of favourtism and discrimination here. The staff all lie and cant keep their stories straight. The onsite super Maureen is horrible and nobody likes her. The only tenants who like her are the ones that get everything they want and experience no rental increases, these are the same tenants who help management harrass people out of their homes. After well over two decades of living at Highpoint, I figure I should leave a review, because it's been an absolute joy to live here. It is always clean, quiet, and safe. There is rarely a noise disturbances like screaming or slamming doors. Repairs are quick and being an older building, when things need repairs or interruptions, we are informed quickly by email as soon as it happens. Rent is ridiculous. No hot water when you bring it up to management , they constantly lie, you're the first person to complain about this.That's all we ever heard.Hot is essential . Management is very unprofessional. Maureen is the worst person in Management. Gossip about other managers and residence.. 3 managers left while we were there. 1 switched buildings.Because they have to do all the work. We never once seen Maureen actually do anything.
