Absolutely a joke. 2 years to process claims and then not cover anything. Just a ridiculous scam from a multi-billion dollar corporation that clears $500 million a year. Thank you guys for taking care of everyday American people.
Every experience we have had since switching to this insurance has been awful. Ive been told by multiple doctors that i need a very crucial surgery to revert damage to my spine before it becomes permanent, and every time its been sent through its been denied. When i call to talk to the customer service team, they are real quick to shut me down just to get me off the line. They just denied a woman for IUD coverage in Pittsburgh. Look it up. They billed her for $14k and she couldn't pay that. She was forced to negotiate the bill down to $5600. Highmark didn't have to cover this contraception because it was a "grandfathered" healthcare policy prior to Obama signing a bill in 2010. Never forget who the people are that run this company. Nothing short of AMAZINGly worthless. Site provides NO information. Providers info looks like the site was just started; no information. Meds, even generics, not covered per the sites information. Just a complete donkey show.
