Between my employer and myself, we thousands of dollars towards my medical insurance coverage. I even pay extra for the upgraded policy! Highmark Blue Shield pays next to nothing towards claims from xrays, medication, and medical treatments. A medication that they approved and partially covered has now been decline! If you have a choice, do not enroll in Highmark Blue Shield!! Absolutely horrible!!
The all time worst insurance company you could possibly get. They cover nothing. And what they do cover is minimal. Seriously do your family a favor and go with a different provider.
