We visited this week and were greatly disappointed in the lack of COVID safety protocol. Masks on the ground-I brought it to their attention and they did nothing. Some Staff and visitors not wearing masks in required areas. No social distancing by the pool. I overheard a staff person tell a visitor that they could be lenient with the mask policy! Something for everyone. You can swim, dive, hike, relax on a lounge chair, BBQ, be noisy with the crowd or find a tranquil spot alone in the adjacent forest.
This place is an oasis. Not like being in New Jersey. The water is super clean and invigorating. It is surrounded by trees. There are frogs, tadpoles, and little lizards, which is really cool. The staff is great. People from everywhere seem to come here.
We heard about this place and went to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised and decided to join that day. There are negative reviews from people about this pool but I’m sure these people were looking for a clear chlorinated pool which this is not. It is not a dirty place as some described at all. It’s like swimming in lake water. Weekends can get crowded but if you complain about space to sit, there is always the field area away from the pool which I prefer as it quieter and lots of space.
