. I entered into a new home build contract with a builder (Crescent Homes) 6 months ago and 10 days before closing, they canceled the contract and still have not returned my deposit. The builder switched lenders and started their own lending company so they could inflate the interest rates to get more money. When I told their “lender” I was going to use my own lending company because of the inflated interest rate, they terminated the contract. Also, they sold the home for $70K more than my sales contract.
