My mother has been a resident at Highland Manor for over 10 years. She recently became ill and is no longer able to live alone. Therefore, other living arrangements had to be made for her. A noticed was placed on her door on March 10, 2026 stating she had 30 days to vacate the apartment. This is not the problem. We have already started vacating the property prior to the notice. Want to say that, first and foremost, the staff are great…they do what they’re allowed to do. Today, they came in again, unexpectedly, for pest control. Have repeatedly asked for an advance notice, but to no avail…can’t help but wonder if this isn’t so that they can catch people unawares…but, if they could work on that, and keeping the elevators in good working order, as I said before, it’s a good place to be, and is staffed by competent and friendly workers. Hello, residents at Highland Manor. We are seniors. Who knows very little about technology. So I contacted CEO at Mark- Dana Corporation. His name is David M. Koogler. I expressed all of our concerns. Today you should have received an email or letter from the office. Saying that Mark-Dana Corporation is now taking over the complex. So let's see what happens next.

Elevators in the back of the complex frequently stop working. It has been over a month now, almost 2 months. My mother in law is a senior citizen and cannot walk up 3 flights of steps. It’s absolutely ridiculous, for a complex to be receiving money from the government and very important things like an elevator to work should be against the law, it’s a fire harzard.

The only thing. I have a problem with them is they do not have working washing machines for the seniors to wash their clothes. They have one machine working on the 1st floor and it's been like that for a while now. I'm talking about At least 2 years are longer. And the elevator is always broke. A lot of the seniors cannot walk up the stairs. They pay too much money for stuff not to be working properly.
