My mother has been a resident at Highland Manor for over 10 years. She recently became ill and is no longer able to live alone. Therefore, other living arrangements had to be made for her. A noticed was placed on her door on March 10, 2026 stating she had 30 days to vacate the apartment. This is not the problem. We have already started vacating the property prior to the notice. Want to say that, first and foremost, the staff are great…they do what they’re allowed to do. Today, they came in again, unexpectedly, for pest control. Have repeatedly asked for an advance notice, but to no avail…can’t help but wonder if this isn’t so that they can catch people unawares…but, if they could work on that, and keeping the elevators in good working order, as I said before, it’s a good place to be, and is staffed by competent and friendly workers.
