Wasn't impressed with the facilities- cabins clean but smelled like mildew and/or moth balls. No screens on doors to air out the place without inviting in bugs galore. For the money I've definitely stayed at much nicer "older" establishments. We attended a small outdoor wedding and was appalled at the service during the reception, especially the bartender service. Celebrated a family reunion at highland resort and had the best time!
RecommendedWent for a wedding, spent 3 days . Absolutely loved it! Very quaint, rustic and peaceful . Everything within walking distance. Staff very nice , entire grounds are very clean ! I have no problem recommending this resort !
The lodge rooms, cabins and cottages are like a good summer camp. Older facilities but very well maintained. Lush landscaped grounds with opportunities to walk, swim, play volleyball, swing or lie in a hammock. Excellent food in Seasons Restaurant. Haven't been in Woodward House rooms, but it was built later than the other lodgings. Second or third time we've stayed here with a group of 30-40 club members, and they are very accommodating, friendly and professional.
