Loved it! So nice to have the common room with the fireplace and kitchen. Also, thanks to them for sending out the engineer to show us how to use the fireplace remote.
This is a very nice place to get away from the everything it's very nice and the rooms are very very nice.
Attended a wedding and stayed on site. Food was amazing. Breakfast for 2 days and a wedding dinner. Cabin 102 was rustic but had a nice full size shower. Great activities to do. Just wish it wasn't 12 hours from home. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and professional.
I am so impressed with the customer service I just received from Highland Lake Inn & Resort. I had booked a room through a third party service and was (sadly) forced to cancel a full seven days before my trip. Because I missed the cancellation deadline by a few hours, the third party service charged me one night's fee as the fine print dictated and abdicated responsibility to the resort. Beautifully tucked away in the mountains, my husband and I spent 2 days here over the Christmas holidays...I will go back, the restaurant took me by surprise ..fine exquisite dinning first class chefs..
