Highland Kitchen is akin to a comfortable American pub. Being a place serving delicious American fare in generous portions and reasonable to the pocket, this joint is a popular local hang out. The restaurant also has a bar that offers a list of spirits and cocktails that are equally good. Enjoy the jukebox here that continues to entertain all who are out for a casual evening with friends.

We went for brunch during a snowstorm. The restaurant doesn't open until 11am and we were third in line when we arrived at 10:36am. delicious food, great service, very crowded, very noisy/loud !
My first time here and it did not disappoint. I ordered the salmon which was perfect. I also got a taste of the famous fried chicken which one one my friends ordered and got a taste of the goat dish as well. For starters we had the mozzarella balls and fried plantains. And we had to had dessert- we decided to share a banana pudding which was awesome. Thank you for the wonderful experience! On my next visit, I will try the scallops.
We went for the first time Saturday night. It was crowded, so we knew it would be good... After speaking with the Hostesses telling them we had Theater tickets, we headed to the bar. Bartender was very nice, gave us our drinks and waters, which I thought was a nice touch. Our wait wasn't as long as we anticipated and once seated we were greeted by Asa, he was fabulous. The food was amazing Fritters, Gumbo, Hanger steak, jambalaya, and pappardelle Bolognese. We had no room for dessert, but that menu looked good too.
Nice place. Great food. Good pours. Great service
