Pros : Beautiful building, pool, and decent gym. Cons: Management is inattentive and slow to deal with any issues. We had pet rent charged every month even though we asked to have it removed 3x (we do not have any pets). We had issues upon move in with the prior tenants being on the lease still even a month into living here. They needed to make repairs to the pipes above one of our showers and left a gaping hole in the ceiling for well over a month. The building itself is beautiful with a full gym, pool and nice roof. They allow you to rent the roof for $150 as long as you abide by the time rules and clean up. These are not the things I have issues regarding it’s more along the lines of the management and how problems are poorly handled. I ask on several occasions to remove pet rent (they didn’t), contractors came into our apartment blew a giant hole in the ceiling of our bathroom and then said “Someone will be back eventually to finish this.” It took them almost two mo... read more

I absolutely love this highrise and the community in it. The spacious floor plans, floor to ceiling windows, and amazing views make this apartment complex unique from every other one in Pittsburgh. Plus, the property manager, Tena, has been the best PM I’ve ever come across in my 30+ years of apartment living. My only complaint is about the extremely thin walls. I have lived in Highland House Tower for almost a year now and will be renewing. I highly recommend the excellent quality of life in this building. Garage parking is available. The gym, pool, and outdoor sitting areas are clean. One of the highlights of living here is the friendly and responsive leasing team. I am very happy with life at Highland House Tower. The location next to the park is incredible. The building is secure. The manager Tena holds fun events for residents all the time. I recently relocated to Pittsburgh and Tena answered all our questions. Because of Tena, moving in last year was easy and painless. Levi is the most helpful maintenance employee ever.
