Honestly dont even know what to say the team that handled my csection was nothing short but wonderful as we had to move quickly it was intense and scary i had a wonderful team and energy by my side including my partner ! Thank you so much triage unit for helping me deliver my wonderful baby boy and making this scary experience such a positive one for me.
It’s the closest thing to a birthing center. You’re made to feel as comfortable as possible from the time you get there. Even though my birth was challenging, my stay felt like a vacation. They prepare you & your little one with love. They tend to all of your needs and diets. They honor your birth plan without any effort to shame you for your choices. Lack of consistency in care for patients. Sometimes we go there and the staff is great. Other times it's as bad as any other hospital. You never know what type of care or level of treatment your going to get when you go in. They seem to have A LOT of people training and or learning and they don't send in any resident doctors to check you. They come and tell you the same thing the attending said. September 2025: Went in many times for contractions 4 days prior to birth (first time pregnancy so I had no idea what I was supposed to be looking for) and they were always so nice and welcoming. Always making sure I was comfortable and felt safe. Night staff was phenomenal, much sweeter workers on but day shift was still amazing. During my delivery, I only needed 2 stitches because the WHOLE time during pushing they were massaging and using oil to prevent tearing. I recently gave birth to my beautiful healthy daughter at Highland. From the moment I was admitted I was thoroughly impressed with all the staff I encountered. They go above and beyond to ensure that you are safe and cared for. They thoroughly helped me through all aspects of my induction process, labor and delivery. It was very evident that all the staff truly care and they all stopped in to check on you after delivery frequently.
