Poor communication. Nurses were great, Dr.s not so much. Horrid food - few choices, inedible. NO PARKING! Lot completely full, cant even get in to see our doctor.
Went in to emergency today because of possible cardiac issue and was having chest pain. Waited in the waiting room to be seen which I get it the place was busy. But what bothered me was the fact that I had a red bracelet on and all these people who didnt and showed up 2 hours after me were all seen and taken care of while I was completely ignored. I as a Travel Rn have been at this Hospital for almost two years. I recently became an Emergency Room patient. I can't stress enough the care I received was 10/10. The care of My Nursing coworkers on West-7 Nights team, The CRA, the efficiency of the ER team. The provider I was placed under her care (she listened to my concerns ) the Nurses the Techs. Too much incompetence and lack of bedside manner to list. All the way from the ER to 6th floor West for my sister who was recently there and discharged yesterday. Shame on them.
The experience that I had in this hospital varies because it has been times I have went and I’ve got amazing care. There are some amazing nurses who really care for their patience, but there are also doctors who are greedy for the money. And some vascular doctors who are greedy for the bones . They will amputate limbs, even if you do not need amputation. There has been several patients who have gone under procedures and have woken up with limbs taken off, especially for those who cannot advocate for themselves. This has to s... read more
